ÖÖD at BAU 2019
Our tiny houses have already gotten off to a strong start for the year 2019, and we are very proud to have so many fans around the globe. Our story, design, and concept were warmly welcomed by thousands of visitors at the world’s largest construction fair BAU in Munich, Germany.
ÖÖD mirrored houses, on exhibition for the very first time, were not only an attraction for the visitors but also for all of our trusted partners, including Saint Gobain, Grohe, Aluprof, Thermory, and Keha3, who have each played an important role in our creation. The avalanche of compliments from architects and interior designers is a clear sign that we have made the right decision in moving along a previously neglected path and so-called “glamping” units, which combine luxury and functionality, are in increasingly high demand.
ÖÖD’s demo house was a little different this time around. Surrounded by panoramic Estonian landscapes and with a warming touch of nature, the house served as a tranquil oasis between all the stands showcasing the latest trends in the construction field.
Over the course of our six-day stay, we counted roughly 5,000 visitors from countries as diverse as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Russia, Croatia, Greece, Iceland, France, UK, Belgium, Poland, Japan, Korea, and China.
ÖÖD team is very grateful to all of you for your time, support and interest at BAU. The lucky few who got an advance look at our ÖÖD 2.0 hotel suites already know what to expect from the next exhibition and know that our goal is to change the way we live, feel and spend our valuable time
ÖÖD’s next destination is the NAHB International Builders’ Show in sunny Las Vegas, USA, in January 2020.
